Professor Mohamed is currently the James Milligan Fellow at Columbia Law School.She has a J.D. and a Masters of International Affairs from Columbia. CDO: Trial Advocacy Summer Fellowship Program Info Session - Boalt 105

The San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association’s Trial Advocacy Fellowship Program for the Summer of 2010 is an intensive 11 week, full-time stipended ($6,000) program for students who have completed their second year of law school. Selected students are placed with 3 different mentor firms, each for a 3-4 week period. The students will be assigned to a mentor attorney and will observe and participate in all aspects of a plaintiffs’ trial practice including depositions, trial preparation, motion hearings, trials and mediations. Come meet with Fellowship Program committee members to learn more about this unique opportunity and how to apply. This fellowship is sponsored by the San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association Diversity Committee.

A clear lesson from the global economic meltdown is that corporate governance and ethics matter. Less clear are the steps to improving how financial firms operate. Join a panel of UC Berkeley professors to explore and respond to questions such as: How should executives incorporate potential global and long term impacts into their business decisions? Are the recent announcements of bonuses to financial executives a sign of economic recovery or continued ethical lapses?
